Activities of Association
To
co-operate the activities of Print Lamination and other allied trades carrying on the
business within the jurisdiction of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
To
organise meetings, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, etc., in furtherance of the
interest of its members.
To
conduct a journal, magazine, newsletter or bulletin, etc,.
The objects of the Association
To bring together Print Laminators from all over Tamilnadu and Pondicherry.
To co-ordinate the activities of Print Laminators and allied trade carrying on the
business within its jurisdiction mentioned above.
To promote, protect and otherwise look after the interests of its members.
To create and foster an esprit de corps among members.
To organise meetings, conference, exhibitions, seminars, etc., in furtherance of the
interests of its members.
To conduct a journal, magazine, newsletter or bulletin, etc.
To help the Print Lamination industry to render better and more useful service to the
general public.
To increase the prestige and influence of the print laminators trade and to impress on the
Print Laminators their importance in the national economy of the country.
To educate the general public, business houses and industrial undertaking as to the value
of quality Print Lamination.
To collect statistical data regarding the various aspects of the industry, develop
research and furnish the results thereof to its members.
To improve technical knowledge by formulating schemes for training technical personnel and
apprentices, establishing and running technical institutions in co-operation with
Government and other public bodies, individuals, business houses etc., in establishing and
running such institutions and by awarding scholarships, conducting competitions and
offering prizes, etc.
To study market trends, develop new products and additional uses of Print Lamination.
To develop better methods of sales management and plant management.
To promote sound account practices, uniform costing methods, ratio analysis and production
standards.
To create and/or manage any trusts or endowments with a view to the development of the
Print Lamination trade/industry.
To accept any bequests, gifts, donations, endowments, subscriptions from any member of the
Association or from any other persons or institutions or otherwise establish endowments or
provide funds for the protection or attainment of the object of the Association and to
invest the same as may from time to time be determined.
To aid, or to receive aid from any other Society, Association, Company, Corporation, or
Firm, with a view to obtain any advantage or benefit for the purpose of the Association
and to subscribe to any fund or institution as may be considered deserving.
To acquire by purchase, lease or otherwise, lands, building, or other properties, movable
and immovable as the Association may, from time to time, think fit.
To invest and/or spend on behalf of the Association any moneys at the disposal of the
Association in such manner as may, from time to time, be determined.
To make donations, charities or to offer scholarships and prizes to deserving scholars for
purpose of study of technical improvements.
To act as liaison between the members and those engaged in the trade in India and in
foreign countries, and to provide for discussion between members on all matters relating
to Print Lamination with a view to preventing unhealthy competition amongst members.
To procure the amendment or repeat of legislation injurious to,. and to promote
legislation beneficial to, the trade of members and to call attention to the effect of
foreign staff and commercial treaties on the trade of members.
To arrange for obtaining the materials necessary for the trade on easy terms.
To co-operate with other sister-associations and Federations with similar ideals and
objects and to nominate members of the Association to such bodies.
To mutually assist members in their day-to-day problems and
To do all such and other lawful things as are incidental and conductive to the attainment
of the objects set forth above.
